The mirror has two very strong water activated suction cups that hold it securely until you want to move it. a litt;e button on the side turns on the light . out of the box i questioned the quality of the morror but this handy little device deliver a sharp image more then adequate for applying lip liner and eye makeup. you can also see if a stray chin hairs needs a quicl pick or brows need a refresh waxing.
